Airplane camping is truly an aviation activity.
Aviation City proves that “if you build a Fly-In/Camp-Out Center they will come”
Pilots, planes, tents, what more could one ask for ?
Perhaps a bit of aviation history to check out.
Don’t forget a nice campfire and scud running stories.

Friends of Arcadia Airport would like to give a special Thank You to Canoe Safari for providing transportation for Friends and our guests to a local restaurant on Friday evening, and to the Peace River for a 9 mile canoe trip on Saturday. Then to top that off they even provided additional transportation to dinner at another local restaurant again on Saturday evening for the campers ! It is wonderful to have such strong community support for our guests. Thank you very much Jason & Georgia !
Friends would also like to thank the Recreational Aviation Foundation for their strong support of our efforts to develop this Aviation Facility and for all their work on behalf of the GA community nationwide. Friends looks forward to working with the new RAF liaison, Bobby Capozzi and wife Kim in the years ahead.
Thanks to all our guests for flying to Arcadia and camping at Aviation City. We are glad you enjoyed your day trips that support our local businesses and attractions. We hope you will come again soon. Now all we need to do is start planning our 5th annual RAF Fly-In/Camp-Out.
